Fenix Hotel in Cuyutlan, Colima, Mexico, was created in 1933, a year after the tsunami’s impact, same one population endured as well. In 1932 when the ocean went over the community area the locals abandoned this beach, eventually was occupied by people from other places, even from out of sate. During those times the hotel was only made from palm leaf, however, year by year has suffered improvements until turning into one of the best hotels of its category, recognized nowadays all around the entire region.

Fenix has pass down on family generations throughout more than 70 years of experience that grants it prestige. Currently is one of the best known places accepted nationally and internationally as well, because combines in a very original way the traditional customs with modernity.

The hotel offers 13 rooms decorated on soft colors and distributed in two floors. The restaurant is located in the lower floor and every room offer wireless internet service. All rooms offer curtains on windows, doors on private bathrooms and closet. Guestrooms on second floor are more spacious and offer air conditioning, TV with Sky system, warm water service, table with lamp and mirrors. 5 of these rooms offer balcony with ocean view.
